Shining amongst the stars at the LED Show 2013 in Las Vegas
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Well, with the exception of this, we're pleased to report MarulaLED dressed up its lights, and impressed.
From 13-15 August we had the chance to show off our technology at The LED Show in Las Vegas. This was a positive experience for us, in part because of the great feedback we received.
We especially enjoyed hearing comments like "your technology and products are the most interesting and novel on display at the trade fair" and "it's great to finally find an LED G4 bi-pin that is retrofittable"
The LED Show was featured in an article in the September issue of Trade Show Lifestyles magazine. The article shows an example of MarulaLED's CoolTube™ thermal management technology. As can be seen in the picture, CoolTube eliminates the use of an aluminium heat sink by replacing it with an array of copper tubes interspersed between and thermally coupled to the LEDs, through which air is driven to remove the heat.
"The response following the LED Show has been huge. Early indications are that our Spica, the only true LED retrofit bi-pin on the market, will do extremely well in the US", said Colin Andrew from MarulaLED.
We are excited by the interest, which includes requests to distribute our LED lamps enabled with SlimDrive™ and FreeDim™ technology and lighting OEMs planning to use CoolTube™ thermal management in their LED light source designs.
As we mentioned earlier, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, except for this. Owing to the great interest and large number of requests we received we are opening up a MarulaLED office in San Francisco. We'll be keeping you updated on the opening.
